Pt.2 of My NY Trip
Pt.2 of My NY Trip

Welcome back guys!

I've been back home now for a week.

And I'm going too be totally honest; I needed 48 hours to recuperate. 🥴🤪😴😴.

Breaking night/ morning,  everyday isn't as easy as it used to be,  like back in my 20's.

But,  I had fun like I was in my 30's!! What? what? 👠🎊🎉🤯🍸🍾🍹🎼🎼.

Spent time with a cousin from my dad's side,  who doesn't live far from where I'm always staying.

That was a great time of catching up.  I missed him. I had the pleasure if meeting his daughter,  again.  What a beauty.

Went to eat at a Spanish/ Asian style restaurant in The Bronx called @Sabrosura. The portion sizes were amazing,  and the food was delicious. I would definitely go back.

The prima I stay with, she and I were gifted Broadway tickets to see #BeautifulCaroleKingStory WHAT AN EXCELLENT SHOW!!!

Just amazing to find she wrote so many songs! It reminded me of my favorite elementary school music teacher; Mrs. Goldstein.  She was the first person to ever tell  me, my vocal range is a soprano.

But sadly,  you don't use it you lose it.

🎼🎙🎙

(After the show we enjoyed some tacos and drinks @Mexicue.)

I recommend  treating yourself to one of the most enjoyable musicals I've ever seen.

I would see it again!!

Those appreciated tickets were offered to us over dinner and drinks by our "older" cousin Mike.

We enjoyed a wonderful evening in a lovely,  dimly lit restaurant called the "Yard House"

Yummy food and great drinks. Service was wonderful.

I also experienced the, what seems to be the Box Officer Breaker: Avengers End Game.

I'm a Marvel Girl. (Although I LOVE  Ww)

It's a must see.

I also enjoyed nights in, watching movies with my prima,  over popcorn and cocktails.

We enjoyed several movies:

1) Hereditary (I believe)

2) Apt. 407

3) The Burning Bed (Yes we went way back)

4) Irresistible

We also enjoyed an, up and coming club in The Bronx on Alexander Avenue, called The Beatstro (not sure on the spelling).

Entry is a quaint record store, then your enter the club.

I believe it's also a restuarant until midnight.

I did not have the pleasure of trying that.

But you guys most certainly can.

Smooth ambiance,  red couches,  nice art work.  Brightly enough lit bar.  Good music and good drinks.

Then we returned to a previous club; Duos.

This time the 2nd impression was better...

The music upstairs was better. The bartender was friendlier, drinks were better.

Who knows,  maybe we were just all in better moods.

Either way,  we had an excellent time.

Danced, laughed, and somehow,  saw the sun come up,  until 8 a.m

Breakfast the next morning was at 4pm 🥴🤪.

But I did get to see and meet another family member! Just beauties. Babies are such blessings.

Then,  the day for me to come home arrives.

That day is always bitter sweet.

Oh how I love NY,  but I so missed my family and my home.

I needed to be home.

So here I am... planning my next trip.
